I have been playing the Titleist 909F2 15.5 degree three wood since it was released.  I have a Diamana stock Stiff shaft on it.  I have liked it off the tee, but have had a hard time sometimes getting it pure off the deck.

I want to upgrade to the 910F, 15 degree...just having hard time with shaft options.

I was thinking the Diamana Kai'li 75 Stiff since it is said to promote a Mid launch compared to the other two stock shafts.  I know getting a fitter is the best way to know for sure, but I wanted to hear peoples feedback comparing the Kai'li and the 'Ahini Diamana shafts...

    Thank you!

When I got fit for my 910 F2 I picked the Fujikura Motore F1 65 stiff shaft.  I think it's a low launch, but it was perfect for my game.  I know that I tried the Kai'li as well, but I went by the numbers on the launch monitor.  More carry and less spin is what I was looking for in my 3 wood.

You'll have the opportunity to enhance the lie angle in the 910 Fairway...so that could help better contact.

We haven't done enough fittings to find correlations yet, but it seems like players prefer the heavier Ahina in their Fairways so far.

    Ryan,

Thanks for the response.  I was thinking about the Ahina for shaft option, but was worried about the low launch specs they mention for this shaft.

I like the idea of less spin, but want to be able to launch this off the deck as well for par 5's etc...

Of course I could do the Ahina and tweak the hozzle settings to make this a perfect combo...

I currently play with a Titleist 909F2, 15.5 degree with a Diamana Blue 75 Stock Stiff shaft.  Is that more comparable to either of the shafts for the 910F?

    Thank you,

    Wes

I wouldn't worry too much about the launch aspects of the specs.  You may like a 17 set to 16.25 off the deck! Loft at impact is the most important factor affecting launch and the ability to hit it off the deck.

Comparable....I'd say yes because they are from the same company...but all three are very different.  Weight, torque, feel, etc.  In fact, a few players with your shaft have said that the X Flex in the new Blue is like the stiff in the old blue.

Has anyone else had any experience with the 910F shaft options?

    Diamana 'Ahina vs Diamana Kai'li

I want to choose the right shaft for optimal performance off the tee, as well as ease of launch and control off the deck.

Every shaft is one of his favorites.
