906F2 13* Grafalloy Prolite Fairway Stiff made exclusively for Titleist, perfect off the tee, hard to get up off the ground.

906F4 15.5* Titleist 4375 stiff, straight, can't get much draw, too high lose distance, can out hit with 904F 19* YS6+ stiff both from tee and ground tend to hook.

However with a 904F 15* DGS300 it is perfect trajectory off tee or ground(can't hit a fade and tend to hook really bad)

If it is the shaft, would switching the shafts make 2 perfect clubs?

I went out today, the range is finally open, took both and the 904F 5w.

13* must have sensed it might loose its spot in the bag because I was killing it off the ground, no problem getting it up in the air.

15.5 200y max, I even took it on the course and thats all I could get. I got it as a winter club I think thats is what it is good for.

The 5w, I hit about the same as the 15.5, but a little higher and a little tail off to the right.

I hit my 17* 585.h better than both, I'm really liking these 585's.

    I also put my 907 D1/D2 10.5/9.5 up against my 983K 8.5, they didn't stand a chance. I'll keep the D1 10.5 for winter use.

The 983K has a Grafalloy nano tube prototype stiff, the 585's have 4175 stiff, these are correct shafts and clubheads.

Think it's a combination of the Graffaloy and not enough loft for the fairway.  The 13 was deep and sort of baby driver.  The 15 is a little more playable.

The 4375 is probably too soft.  The steel shaft probably doesn't have enough torque.

In terms of today's tech, the 910F 15, maybe at D-1 or C-1 with the Fujikura F1 70 Stiff could be very similar.

    Hey Ryan, thanks

Ok, its both the head and shaft. And yes my main purpose is hitting a draw off the tee(mini driver) and a fade off the ground.

Yesterday I was hitting the 13* pretty good off the ground on the range which is pretty nice lie. I took the F4 on the course and it was horrible, it did work pretty good this winter.

Today I'm taking the F2 and I'll see how it does, the best I remember from last year is I had a hard time getting it up, except off the tee where it was great.

    I see F1 75 and F3 70, basically 3.0* torque and mid trajectory shaft for a 15* head.

I know latest greatest would be best, but I can't afford it.

Do you think the graf shaft in the f4 15.5* would work? Of course I'm gonna wait and see how the 13* works today(maybe my swing just got better than last years)

I'll keep an eye out for a f2 15* with a mid trajectory 3.0* torque shaft at a price for me(like I'll ever find exactly what I'm looking for).

It sort of sounds like that the Pro Lite shaft is your shaft.  It was a great and popular shaft  back in the day so finding specs similar to it will be good.  You may find replicas on eBay.

Last week took the 15.5 in to have a steel shaft put in, finally got it back today, it was changed last night so I haven't given it a try yet(won't be back to the course until Monday).

But I bought a f2 15* nv-75, got it in the mail yesterday, gave it a try today.

This is a pretty good fit.

On hole 3 par 5 I hit 3w and driver, 3w was about 30y short of driver and in the center of fairway and driver was just off the right. Then I hit 5 shots with 3w, about 5y apart left-right and about 1y difference in distance.

Back 9 got even better on distance when the sun came out, warmed up and took all the dampness out of the air and the extra layer off me. Can't hit the ball as long as the 13* off the tee, but I'm more consistent with distance and I can hit any shot I want off the ground(13* fade only).

I think I just ain't got the clubhead speed for the 13*.
