I want to order a new 910 D2 from an authorized Titleist dealer with a RIP 60 Regular Shaft.  Does Titleist ship the RIP 60 Alpha (Red Eyes) shaft in regular or the Gamma (Yellow Eyes) shaft?

This website shows the picture of the RIP 60  Alpha Regular under their custom shafts with no up charge.

Do they charge an up charge for this shaft?

    Please advise TEAMTITLEIST.

    Thanks.

We do offer the RIP 60 Alpha in a regular flex without an upcharge.  We don't offer the Gamma or the Beta at this time.

    Cathi,

    Thanks for replying.

    I have another question.

I have been fitted at an authorized dealer and my swing speed has slowed over the years (88 - 93) but still play to a 5hcp.  I have hit the new 910 D2 9.5 degree with both the Diamana Kai'li 65 regular with 5.0 torque and the 'Ilima 61 regular with 5.1 torque and the stiff with 4.5 torque.  All were set on the standard A1 setting and ball flight and distance were comparable but I found that these shafts have too much twist for my swing and liking probably due to the higher torque.  I never had an issue with getting the ball up in the air no matter what shaft I have hit over the years.  The dealer has recommended that I purchase the 910 D2 10.5 degree with a RIP 60 regular shaft which has 3.2 torque according to Aldila's website.

What are your thoughts on this combination and what about the RIP 60 stiff instead of regular?  This is probably too stiff for my swing speed.  Is there another combo you might recommend that does not have an up charge?

    Thanks again.

    Terry
