Just got back from my first iron fitting in about 10 years. I was feeling my irons weren't right anymore. Based on this fitting, I don't think they ever were quite right, which makes me sad. This latest fitting was 1/2" shorter (1" long vs. 1.5" long) and 3° flatter (1° upright vs. 4° upright). BTW, I'm 6'5" tall, but even then I don't think 4° upright was ever right. I always hit a lot of draws, and lately I've noticed my swing changing in an attempt to get the club flat. Hopefully, I have the right setup vs. what fits my modified swing.
Anyway, I'm so looking forward to my new set of MB irons. I'm even looking forward to a few weeks of re-grooving my swing back to what it should be.
Bottom line for me is that I highly recommend you get to an advanced fitter. Being outside with a launch monitor is really helpful.
