910D2 fitted with Matrix HD Radix 5 Shaft 59gms

    i recently fitted my 910D2 driver with the matrix HD Radix 5 shaft (Regular/59 grams). the setting on the driver is currently at A1 (neutral).

    i like the impact feel, the launch angle. however, i am getting baby fades and at times, big fades and lost a great deal of amount.

    my driver distance was an average 260 yards. with this new shaft, i barely get 220 yards.

    why ?

    I would love to see your driver specs before, and you launch monitor numbers before making a judgement. In my mind, barring any change in fitness or injuries, we have a spin issue.

    It does sound like spin, but the Matrix HD Radix 5 has not passed testing by our R & D department yet so we don't have any data on it compared to our other shafts.

    Assuming loft is the same, that shaft could be spinning too much...or too little.  We'll have to see the numbers!  That's a very unique and custom shaft so the fitter must have some good data.
