I am interested in possibly buying the 910 D2 this year, but am not sure about what shaft or loft would be most appropriate for my swing.  There seem to be a lot of combinations and I want to make sure I pick the right one.  I have been fitted before at an indoor simulator, but after reading some other posts, I don't have any confidence in that now.  There doesn't seem to be any outdoor fitting centers close to my location.  Any advice on what I should do?  Thanks in advance for any feedback.

FYI: I am a slightly above average golfer (8-10 hcp), club head speed is high enough to where I have always been fitted with a stiff flex (maybe around 115).  My rpms are usually in the low to mid 3k range so I sometimes lose distance from too much spin.

  2. Hi Don -

    Where are you located?

If you could provide the numbers for your current club that might help us with a better suggestion.

What is your current driver, loft, shaft and flex?  Do you know what your launch angle is with that driver?

    Hi.  Thanks for the reply.

I am located an hour north of Columbus, Ohio.  I am currently using the 2009  Burner with an Aldila NV65 stiff shaft, 9 .5 deg loft.  I can't remember what my launch angle was when I was fitted for that shaft, but I do recall my backspin rpms where high (around 3500) if that helps.  Thanks again!

Still waiting on a reply to my last post. Can anyone help?
  5. Hi Don -

Doesn't look like there are any scheduled Fitting Days in your area but you do have an Titleist fitting partner in your area that perform outdoor fittings with a launch monitor.

If you like the feel of the NV you might first look at trying the Aldila RIP shaft.  It should do more to reduce your spin rate.
