Shaft length vs. shaft flex

  1. Hi:

I recently bought a 910Fd (13.5 degrees) with the Ahina Made for Titleist shaft, stiff flex. I am having a hard time getting the ball up in the air, even with the loft cranked up to 15 degrees. The person I bought it from had the club custom built by Titleist "tipped one inch" so that the length was 42". Could tipping it have increased the stiffness of the shaft, and could that be the reason I am having trouble getting my tee shots up in the air? I play stiff shafts in all clubs, but I am on the borderline between regular and stiff (< 100 mph swing speed with driver).

I also bought a 910h, 19 degrees, with the Kai'li shaft, and that flies high.

    Thanks for any help.

It does sound a little stiff on paper. I wound try to find a fitter and test the Kaili shaft that matches your hybrid. Call 888-Titleist! Operators are standing by!

That particular variation of the Diamana Shaft is for LOW trajectory and low spin.
