  1. Which should be the right shaft for me, I'm thinking in buying a Titleist 910 D2 Driver  . I'm  46 years old, 15 handicap, my driver's head speed is 90 / 95 miles and 250 / 260 yards with fade tendency.

Marcelo, Based on my experience I recommend you try several shafts, even if you don't think they're right for you compared to what you're hitting now. I only tried one shaft during my "fitting" and think I could have done better. I'm a bit older and a 10 handicap but had similar swing speed and distance numbers with my previous driver. Bought the D2, 9.5 deg with the Kali'i Reg shaft. Now only get 230-235 with it but hit it straight or with a slight draw at the D4 setting. I am going back late next week to try other shafts in the hopes I can find one that will gain back some yardage but still keep my shots in the fairway. I intend to try the Kali'i in a stiff flex and probably the Rip 60 shaft too. I would tell you to try every shaft the fitter has available in the Reg and Stiff flexes just to prove to yourself that whatever you decide on is the best one for you. Unless you try them all, you'll never know. SteveH

Get fitted. the best shaft for you is the one that best fits your swing & your game. Go to a local golf shop and get fitted for the proper shaft, don't pick one just because someone else uses it.

i agree with the man who commented first on this, just try multiple shafts recommended from a pga teaching pro, the key is to get fitted, its worth it to buy the real shaft also, if it says made for titleist then it is the stock shaft that comes with the driver, i highly recommend getting the upgraded shaft, i gained 20 - 30 yards in doing so. but make sure it fits you before you buy it.

Marcelo, The driver is a very important club and certainly not cheap, so I would strongly suggest that you seek out a qualified fitter in your area so that you can dial the driver in for your game. Based on your speed you are in the "stiff" range, but within that range there are several shafts all with different tendencies, so to choose a shaft based on club speed and average distance would not be your best bet. The fade tendency should be easily taken care of between the shaft and of course the sure fit adjustable hosel. Good Luck and call the Team Titleist line if you need help finding a fitter in your area. Craig
  6. I'm a 6 index playing Titleist MB irons. My accuracy with the stiff shafts is superb when i'm swinging well buy my distance is wanting. Should I consider swapping out the stiff shafts with some other type of steel shaft that are more flexible, if so what are my options and will some other type of shaft really add yardage to my iron shots?
