Although I'm a Pro V1 player, I was in Dick's the other day and saw the new Titleist TruFeel on the shelf and decided to pick up a dozen and try them out. I'll break out a sleeve on Wednesday and see how it goes.

Ok, finished my round with the TruFeel and here is my observations. A little longer off the tee than Pro V1 off the tee. A little more rollout on approach shots and chips and pitches. Nice feel on putts. Very soft feel on all shots. Being 66 and not getting younger, I would consider switching to this ball. Consider changing the alignment visual to a single stripe. Currently, it kind of resembles a range ball.

That's my only beef with the TruFeel. They look downmarket with that large side stamp (yes, it does resemble a range ball). A simple alignment line would be fine.

Thank you for the evaluation of the ball! So hard to replace the feel of the Prov1

    Hi
    Thanks for the feedback
I also am a prov1 user ( for many years ) and am thinking of trying the trufeel ball during the winter months in the uk as the higher ball flight may work well on the wet fairways were you get no room out.
Also think the red lines look a bit tacky as well
    Cheers
  6. Seemingly the red lines where chosen as they were the most popular side stamp on the custom print range? Maybe those were black and it’s just the style they’ve copied and made them red for this model. Don’t think black would look as cheap personally. Picked some up today so will see how they play

I played the TruFeel this past weekend, and was pleased with them. I liked the distance, and the feel around the green was great. I normally pay the V1, but will definitely keep these around as well.
