Compare new AP2-712 irons with old 755 Forged

    Love my 755s, but ready to finally buy new. Was going to purchase AP2 710s, but now that the 712 series will be out in a couple months, I will wait for them, since they have been hyped to be more forgiving than the 710s. What should I expect moving up to the AP2 712s? Will they be more or less forgiving than the 755s?  Better feeling? Better sounding?

    Also. what midsize grip options will be available at no upcharge?

    I would just have them add 4 wraps of tape under the grips which is the equivalent of a midsize grip.  If you wanted to go one step further do not use a .600 grip but rather a .580 grip and that would be like 4.5 or 5 warps of tape...this information comes from the Golf Pride website using their technical numbers and forum....

     

    It is less costly than using a midsize grip plus you may find that 3 wraps of tape or 5 is better for your personal set up..
