Custom Scotty's

    I'm getting a Scotty for my bday next month and I was wondering if it is really worth spending the extra money to get custom stamping and what not. I'd like to have my name stamped on it but they say it takes an extra 15-20 days for just to get 4 letters stamped on it. Also does it really take that long to get that done and for shipping? I have friend who gets Scotty's in all the time at a GolfSmith and I can pick one up from him at any time. So is it really worth the wait for the stamping???

    Good Question...

    Actually it is 15-20 days not including shipping so you can plan on closer to a month...

    I like and prefer the idea of having my putters personalized...to each their own, however I think based upon the way you worded your question it may not be worth to you...keep in mind though while your putter is a Scottys Spa (as many like to refer to it) you can also have the loft and lie adjusted among other things at no extra cost...JAT

    This is incorrect.  I got my putter back 18 days after i shipped it out.  I got a paint fill and stamping done as well.  IMO it was worth it, and the service was really great.  Also if there is any special requests you have pertaining to where you would like stamps, the shop is very accommodating.
