I just got a new set of the irons yesterday and took them out for a round. They hit nice but the clubs received scuff marks on the club head. If anyone knows how to get rid of them please let me know!!!!!!!

David, you can go to a golf store and get what's called a scratch eraser (or something to that effect) They work fairly well, and they're cheap (around $5.00) so you won't be out much if it doesn't work. Most are a dark gray color, and look like the old erasers we used to use in school. If you can't get them out, just look at it like the scratches give the clubs character, and your going to get them, but I know it's like getting that first scratch on a new car or P.U. Hope this helps.

If they are scuffs and not very deep scratches, buffing them out with toothpaste and a damp rag will restore luster to your new AP1s. Rubbing hard sure will polish them nicely. I use this method on all my AP1s clubs. I don't use it on Oil Can, Black Nickel or Black Oxide or any other type of coated treatment or finish. Toothpaste is like a very fine jewelers polish. If you use a Dremel tool, buff at a low RPM and stay away from your hosels and the urethane Titleist insert and the AP1 Logo on the back side of the face. Toothpaste will polish the red RIGHT off the AP1. Do it all by hand and elbow grease, no worries!

AC,
Thats good advice. I use toothpaste and old denim jeans to polish my knife edges. I couldnt believe it when I first read about it but it works great!
