Late last year I was fitted for irons at a regional fitting center.  At the time the best fit for me was the AP2 714's with a NS pro Modus 3 tour 120 stiff.  However, the C-Taper Lite was just coming out and wasn't available for me to test.  Question is does anyone have any comparisons between the two?  Also, do the regional fitting centers now have C-Taper lite demo shafts available?  I live about an hour from the fitter but it would be worth it to me to make the trip to see if it's a better fit.  Going to pull the trigger on one or the other here soon, but which is the question??????   Thanks!

Hi David,  The Modus 3 120 and the C Taper Lite flight and spin similarly.  The biggest difference is the swingweight - the Modus weighs about 4 grams more (S) and swingweights about a half swingweight more than a standard DYG and the C Taper lite swingweights 1 less.  So in an AP2, the Modus will swingweight at D2-D3 and the C Taper will be D0-D2.

Check with Kyle, he should have the shaft.

Thanks Cathi.  I will give them a call and make the trip north this weekend or next.  One quick follow up question.  I see that both shafts are standard upcharge now on the custom  option sheet.  What does that mean for lead time after i place my order?  I'm looking to do that soon so I can start practicing the first of March ( if the snow ever melts around here, that is.)

The Modus 3 are in house and it will be a 2-3 day build, but the C Taper lites will probably take about one week.  They are so new, we don't have them in yet, but should have them shortly.
