  1. I recently purchased a 13.5 degree 909 F3 that's in very good condition but after hitting it the last few weeks I do not like the shaft too much.  I have two questions:

Has any one tried, or use, the VTS shaft line?  And what are your thoughts?

Is it possible to use a "hybrid" shaft in a 3 wood?  Will it have a negative influence on the performance of the club?

I've generally heard positive feedback about the VTS line. Just make sure you pick the model that fits your ball flight and torque preferences. Generally you'll lean toward the 75 weight for fairway woods. You're not going to find too many hybrid shafts in fairway woods because the tip diameter is too large. A 909 13.5 has a .335 hosel diameter and the most common hybrid shafts are .370. You may find a few taper tip hybrid shafts at .355 but they are still much too large to fit.
