    Hi all,

Does Scotty still make these? I see them on websites, such as TGW, yet not on the Scotty website. Anyway, I have questions about them.  Years ago I was fitted for their Studio Select blade putter, because of my open and close putting stroke, since the weighting are on the ends. I was told that if I had the SBT stroke I would need a mallet putter. Is there such a thing as an inbetween(hybrid?) type putter? I am in love with the California's "Fast Back", "Del Mar", and "Sonoma" putters. Are these true mallet putters, compared to what I see with their Go-Lo putters, or all those 2 ball putters etc? Could I get away with these?  I would obviously be fitted if the pro shop I frequent still have the Californias.

    Thanks,

    Eddie

    Edmund,

We do currently offer the Select Fast Back model.  This is considered a mallet and isn't quite as big as our GoLo or Futura X models, but still offers a great level of forgiveness.  You will want to find out through your pro shop what putter will match your putting stroke.  By this, I mean what putter model offers the amount of toe flow that will compliment your putting style.  The Fast Back offers very minimal toe flow and works well for players with less of an arch in their stroke or looking to reduce the to flow of their current putter.
