fairway metal suggestions

    Bought a 913D3 driver last fall. 8.5 loft, Aldila RIP Phenom 70 stiff shaft standard length. I hit it pretty well about 270-275 typically in or just off fairway. Usually shoot in high 70's. Would like to get a 913F and 913H. Went to a couple of golf shops and all they want to sell me is what they have in stock in their stores. Any suggestions on appropriate lofts and shafts to be compatible with my driver and my game ? Thanks - Mike

    Sounds like you are hitting your current D3 pretty well.

    When it comes to finding the right lofts and shafts in your hybrids and fairways, it is all player dependent. For the fairway, try to determine if you are looking for something to hit more off the tee or the into greens. This will help guide you in the right direction. As for the hybrid, find the correct loft that will help you close the gaps between your longest iron and highest lofted fairway wood.

    It is always best to see a local fitter and try the different heads and shafts first. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Paying a little extra, if needed, is worth it, to get the right make up........box stores sometimes are only interested in moving current stock and some will work with you and order what you need........Bubba is on target....get fitted and you will be one happy camper and you game will reflect it........fairway and greens.......
