AP2 with stronger loft

    I am conspiring ordering a set of AP2's (4 to PW)  with the loft 1* stronger than stock. My thought being that I could use the help in terms of a bit of extra distance especially in the 4 to 6 irons). This is likely due to as much as anything that I am used to a stronger loft due to my current irons.

    I realize that strengthening the loft will decrease the bounce, as I tend to be a sweeper I do not think the decease in bounce will be an issue.

    Are there other elements that I should be aware of or consider? I can always have the clubs bent back to standard I the sole turf interaction is off

    Hi Tom,  You should consider hitting them first to see if you hit your long irons sufficiently high to gain any benefit from bending them stronger.  One degree in your shorter itons should not pose a problem as a sweeper.
