I'm just curious. Is the AP2 714 2-iron actually available to the public or is this a tour issue only? I was under the impression that it was the latter. Thanks.

The AP2 2 iron was made in very limited quantities as prototypes.  We do a lot of prototype testing on Tour and we did not bring the 2 iron to market so it is not for sale. 

I don't think I have ever seen or heard of an AP@ 2-iron before, except if you were to custom order a 3-iron and had it bent to the loft of a 2-iron. The only iron (set) that has a 2-iron (that is advertised) is the Titleist CBs. Most people that want a 2-iron go with the 712 U or a hybrid. 

I always wondered why there isn't a Titleist AP2 2-iron, when most people would like more forgiveness in the long(er) irons. 

Where did you hear or see an AP2 2-iron?
