I currently use Titleist DCI 962 irons and I want to upgrade my iron set. I have an 18 handicap and I golf 10 to 20 rounds per season. Which iron set would be better for me to upgrade to, the AP1 or AP2 set of irons?
Cheers,
Brian.

The AP1 irons are going to be more forgiving on mishits than your DCI's and since you are only playing once or twice a month, you may get more enjoyment from your golf with a more forgiving set. We would still recommend seeing a fitter in your area to try both heads and hit both with the same shaft so that you can choose the model that works best for you and your swing. Our Canada office is at: 877.928.8898. Give Ben a call and he will be able to direct you to a good fitter in your area.

Brian as a fellow average handicapper (19) I could not recommend enough the AP1's, consistency is what all golfers are after and these will help maintain a little more over the AP2's with the forgiveness. Make sure you get fit and you can't go wrong, they both look great and perform well but if you're not playing all that much AP1's would be my go to.

Do not think you could go wrong with a new set of AP1s, after you have been properly fitted.......see what the experts say.....good luck.......

Being a double-digit handicapper, I play the AP1s as well and love them. As has been stated, getting fitted and getting to hit both clubs is extremely important so you can see what you like best regarding feel, looks, and how you hit them. Good luck!
