I've got a 913 D3 that I'm hitting pretty well.  But, I'm following all of the press on the 915 and now I'm thinking about going for a fitting on the 915.  I like that there are Aldila shafts for the standard purchase, and the new technology sounds pretty cool.  So are you seriously looking at the 915 to add to your bag?  I'm thinking that with the list price, a fitting would be quite prudent, will you go for a fitting?  And, I'm curious, what would the 915 replace?

I have the 910D3 but cant decide I want to get the 915 or save $200 and get the 913.

I would recommend getting the 913 and save that $200. That's what I just did. I'm a PGA apprentice and used to play all swoosh stuff but recently switched to Titleist. I bought the 913 D3 (9.5* w/aldila green tour shaft) and it is by far the best driver I have ever hit. I do not see where the 915 will be $200 better than the 913.

You prefer the five wood over the 17* hybrid?   What loft do you carry?

    Chuck,

I do prefer the 5 wood to 17 hybrid. My lofts are 15º 19º and 21º for the hybrid. Those lifts just work for my game.

Sorely. Using a 913 D2 9.5 with a S+ Stiff, but was fitted at a big box driving the ball 20 feet. Coincidently, it was one of 2 LH drivers in stock. "Never again". I don't have confidence in the setup. The no change option is on the table, but if there is a better choice based on an outdoor fitting, I may have to go for the whole package. If not, my confidence will improve in what I have.

915 is supposed to be much improved club.  I would suggest hitting the 915 before pulling the trigger with the dollars.

Very Much looking forward to a fitting at Joe & Leighs, Easton MA learly in Nov!

From all the reviews and info out there, the 915's should be giving my 913's a run for their money.

    Fairways and Greens to all!

I've got the 910 and actually prefer it to the 913.  Just not enough difference to warrant the change.  Now, from what I hear, there is a lot of new technology in the 915 that will help bring down spin and improve off center hits.  I'm very interested.  Can't wait to hit it.

I'm in the same boat as you Greg. I prefer my 910 to the 913, but I'm very interested in the 915. Only question I have with the 915 is why the aim point indicator arrow is up side down on the 915? Is there a reason or just cosmetics? Looks a little distracting to me for the arrow to be pointing to the back of the club head. I do depend on the indicator a lot for alignment, and it looks odd pointing backwards.

I already have my order in for the 915D3 to replace my current 913D3.  I would certainly get fitted to ensure the correct setup and shaft for your particular swing.  There are so many different shaft options available and the correct shaft makes such a huge difference.  I ended up with the exact same shaft and setup I have in the 913D3... I guess if it isn't broken you don't fix it!  Looking forward to November 14th!!

can you use your old shaft and just replace the head with the new 915?

Steve, yes the 913 shafts will fit in the 915 clubs. However, you can't but just the clubhead you need to get the complete club.

Tempted, certainly.  I may buy a hybrid.  I find the technology fascinating, but given how much I already spend on golf as it is, the wife will not be happy.  I'm more likely to buy a Scotty at this time and maybe wait until the 917s to replace my 913D2.

I will definitely be testing it out.  I am in the Market for a new Driver.

I will almost certainly be putting a new driver in play next year.  So I'm anxious to try the 915.  I have to say though, I've had bad luck with Titleist drivers in the past.  I just can't find one that I hit better than my current driver.  I'm not sure if I need a better fitting with someone who has access to more exotic options or if I'm just not a good fit.  But either way, I'll be giving the 915 a try with hopes it outperforms what I'm using now!

When word of the 915 first started to bubble up I was positive that I would be upgrading from my current 913D2 to the 915 as soon as it hit the market.  After seeing the list price, I'm not as positive.  At that cost, I need to see a marked increase in performance over my 913 (which I hit very well).  I will be checking with my local fitter to see when I can set-up a 915 fitting session.  During that session I want to be able to compare the performance of my 913 to the 915 to see what the performance difference is.  If the difference is great enough then I will upgrade to the 915, but probably not as soon as I originally thought.

    Allen,

I am so temped to buy the 915! i recently bought the 913D2 and i love it but i agree with you, the technology inside the 915 is awesome! I'd love to put one in the bag, or at least test one or something, but money is on the low as i just bought a new bag and SM5's.

I'm hitting my 913D3 pretty well, so I'm not in a big hurry to swap that out.  But the 915H hybrids certainly have my eye.  And yes, I'd have to agree with a proper fitting; it made a HUGE difference for me.

I am very tempted.  Received an email the other day to attend a 915 fitting but can't make it, damn kids :)..   Season is almost over for me so this is something i'm definitely going to keep an eye on next year..   From what i'm reading on the 915 driver, this is something i could use.....

I doubt I'll get a new driver since my 913D2 is treating me very well right now but I am almost certainly going to demo the 915F and 915Fd since I need a new 3W.  I am excited to see how they feel and fly!

I'm going to hit one for sure.  The club looks sweet.  I have a 910 that I've been hitting well and didn't find much extra yardage from the 913.  I'll demo one and see if it's a significant improvement.  If it's longer and straighter I'll be whipping out the Amex.

Oh yea I'm tempted! But........I went ahead and ordered a 913D2 with a Bassara shaft this week. There were numerous reasons why I didn't hold out for a 915D2, but one of the main reasons was I like the Bassara shaft.

Sometimes with equipment is not just playing something that you were fitted for, but what you're comfortable with and have confidence using.

I do have an open slot in my bag, so a 915F 16.5* [4-wood] looks real interesting.

I'll let Y'all test & comment on the 915 line and down the road I'll check them out.

Everyone is absolutly right it is a beautiful club. But for me golf is a part time enjoyment of once to twice a week in the midwest summer and if Titleist continues to raise it's prices $100 every other time it introduces another club I will need to start finding a replacement. This is going to price the average golfer to a different brand. I can say I was very interested in the 915 but at this price I'll wait.
