I was fitted for the 913 D2 with 8.5 degrees (LH) set at 10 degree with Fuel 70 stiff shaft.  Would I get the same loft and configuration with 915 or would I go up a bit in loft?

What shaft would give me the best comparison to that fuel shaft?

The 915 does provide lower spin but it is hard to say if you will need to go up in loft without seeing you hit. I would recommend getting fit by a certified fitter first. The Fuel 70 is a low spin shaft and the Diamana +White 70 would probably be the closest stock option to the Fuel 70 you currently have. Remember that the 910 and 913 driver shafts will fit in the 915 driver head. We could also tip the +White 70 to help lower some spin too if you decide to go with that shaft. Most accounts will get their fitting products on 10/24 with some advanced fitting accounts receiving theirs on 10/10.

  3. Is it possible to order the 915 D2 with the face open .5 dgrees?  I typically draw/hook and my present 907D1 has been measured as .5 degrees open.

    Jason,

At the neutral positon, the 915 D2 and D3 will be .5 degrees open.

Just curious, does Titleist subscribe to the theory espoused by some "other company" that the optimum launch spin numbers are 17* and 1700 rpm (for the driver)?

Bill, I am laughing since I was fit with the eact same configuration.  I am going to Oceanside TPI later this month to see where they fit me given the new 915 line.  I will report back how my fitting goes, but as pointed out it may not translate...just my two cents!

I also hit the 9.5 degree 913 D3 driver with the a Pro Force V2 76 gram shaft and have had equally good success depending on the mood I am in... LOL!
