Congrats on your new driver, where about in Indiana are you?  I'm just south of Richmond.

Hi Tyson F, I'm located north of you in a small town called La Fontaine(10 miles north of Marion). When the weather breaks maybe we could meet half way and play a round?          steve b

Sounds good, I've got a buddy who is a TT member as well, he just don't post much.  I will have him playing more than just a Titleist ball by next spring.  He is always up for a travel to play somewhere new.

Is the bottom of the grip a gray color on the new 915's?

Jake, that would depend on what grip you order. I ordered a mid-sized Golf Pride grip and is red top and grey bottom. What the stock grip colors are I have no idea.            steve b

You have a choice of standard grips, so I guess it depends on which grip you have put on the shaft.  I asked for a MidSize Multicompound Orange and Black, which is after market.......did no care for the standard grips.......

Jake, the stock grip for the 915 metals is the Titleist Tour Velvet 360. The grip cap color is grey on the stock grips also.

    Thanks

  10. Got the call from my pro that mine have arrived also! Wish I did not have 4" of snow outside! LOL

I am a PGA Golf Professional here in Florida and on the Titleist Playing Staff. I currently have the 913 10.5 driver and a low spin 15 degree 3 metal. I had a right hip revision, out with the old hardware and in with the new. My muscles, tendons and ligaments are not quite right yet. I am 61 years old and still very competitive. I hit the 915 9.5 deg driver with a red Diamana shaft 50 gram, reg and it felt stiffer than I thought it would. I hit the 3 metal with a Diamana white board, it was super. I am going to be getting the 8.5 deg driver with the white board, 50 gr and the 3 metal with the 60 gr white board. The shaft makes all the difference in the clubs. Last year I was fitted for all Diamana blue and they had way too much torque so I had to inform Titleist what I wanted and they were very happy to do that. I now have a Matrix Ozix HD in the driver, super, 3 metal I had to put a V2 Pro Force in there, it is better but not right, and my hybrids, 17 deg and 21 deg I have the Project X tour HD. All super. Tiltlest got me the shafts and with those I won the Sr Chapter Championship, was Player of the Year for 2013 and qualified 2nd for the National Sr Professional Championship. Titleist makes great clubs and they don't come out with something every 3 months. I have been with Titleist ever since they bought Golf Craft back in either 1968 or 1969. They are great. Also, the prototype new ProV1 ball is 15 yards longer than the other ProV1s. Stick with Titleist, you can't go wrong.
