Shorten driver 1/2" how much weight needs to be added

    My 915 driver was ordered standard length with Aldila Rogue Black shaft. I had 1\2" taken off. Do I need to replace tour fit weight? And if so how much weight needs to be added?

    If you were properly fitted for this club, I would suggest taking it back to the fitter. He should be able to take care of this for you.

    We would recommend adding the 14 gram weight (black) if you want the swingweight to be back to a standard D2.  If you prefer a light swingweight, then you can leave the weight as is..  Please note for the future that you can order your club at 44.5" and specify the black weight at no upcharge.  Cutting it down and ordering a weight afterwards will cost you labor for cutting and about $25 to order the weight.
