Hi Cathi last year I ordered a set of Ap2 Irons with Project PXI 6.0 shafts an inch long. I would like to go down a half inch in length. Will this affect my swing weight or is this an easy fix my local Titleist dealer could do? Thanks Troy.

Hi Troy, This is going to affect your swingweight because cutting 1/2" will make it 2-3 swingweights lighter. Since they were originally 1" long, we would have built your set with lighter heads as well.

Hi Cathi....out of curiosity's sake...when you say that the clubs would have been built with "lighter heads"? What specifically do you mean? Are these special AP2 heads? Or do you mean that there would be less "weight" added to the heads to achieve the desired swing weight?

Thanks Cathi, if i want to send these back to Titleist to go down a half inch can this be done and how would i get pricing? thanks Troy.
Hi Troy, Yes, they can be sent back to Titleist to cut the 1/2" and the swingweight will probably be D1-D2 with standard grip and size. Pricing is set by the pro shop, so you will have to inquire at the pro shop when you take it in. Make sure you get the cost for both the trimming as well as the new grip that will have to be installed.
Thanks Cathi can these be sent back and fixed?
