Just thought I'd add that I hope when the 716 comes that they figure a way to get the face thinner and progress the lofts a touch, maybe inline with miz JPX to get a bit more distance for those of us who need it in a game improvement iron.

I love my AP1s. I have played the 710, the 712 and now the 714. This year I made some changes to my hybrids and wedges but am finding pretty much every other company's game improvement irons go longer and somehow still get solid peak height. I want to continue to play AP1s, but it's getting hard to keep playing them when I'm giving up 5-10 yards per iron against several other irons. I tried the RSI 1s and thought the lofts were a bit silly. I did order my 714 AP1s with a 25 loft 5 iron and a 28 loft 6 iron though after trying all the other GI irons on launch monitors.

Anyways, I'll leave it to the good masters at Titleist.

Just putting in a word from a mid-handicapper who loves Titleist.

from what I've been seeing, other manufacturers have adjusted their lofts. in looking at the current lofts, the lofts are about 1 club stronger. Titleist seems to have kept with traditional lofts.
