Hello ALL in Team Titleist: I currently play a very forgiving set of irons and hybrids. (the only two things not Titleist in my bag- and boy they are much longer face than any Titleist irons.) I've been on my game for a while (working with jvga), and it looks as though I'll be where I was once again. Just recently, I tried a 6i demo club by Titleist, AP2, and the guy at the shop set it up for me with a graphite shaft and had the lie on 4 up which is the closest set up to what I currently play. These AP2(s) are sweet- I hit it just fine along side my 6i and I was very surprised that I was able to work with it. The AP2 is solid and shapes nicer on shots. The two things that I like most about it is for its thin top line, but more importantly it is forged- this will allow me to go up more as it fits me. In any case, I don't want to jump too fast- too soon along with the level or step ladder I'm on with a club that may be too much for me (ya, I could be scared). But, I'm looking around to find what's best for me and I'd like to know if Titleist is thinking of anything in between the AP1 and AP2 in the near future. Best to all. No'l

Wow... I just saw something amazing at another site. Could the answer be "T-MB 716" !? Oh my goodness...

I believe I saw those a lot earlier on a site in Japan.  Are those going to be released in the states?

Those T MB's come in a PW - 5 iron. But you can add a 4, 3 and a 2 to complete the set. I have no idea if they will show up in a North American marketplace yet.

Do you know if those irons are forged/cast ? Thanks.

Noel, I have an answer for you. They are "stainless steel", they are not a forged club. I'm a Titleist fan, I don't consider myself in anyway a Titleist insider. The reason I say this is, I have only read about the T-MB clubs that were presented at the Japanese Golf Fair that took place earlier in the year. I have also read, that these clubs have a blade look to them, but they don't play like a blade. I really like the look of these clubs as well.
