On vacation in Ireland and head of my driver has come loose. Didn't bring the adjustment wrench! Any possible way to retighten head without it? Game no fun w/o my beloved 913. HI is 6 with it. Without it, the sky's the limit. Don't carry a fairway wood. Thanks for your help!

Hi Charles - go to any local pro shop and borrow a wrench.  They may even have them at the golf pro shop at the course.

good luck, Charles. I guess now I know why I tend to tighten the woods after every few rounds. Enjoy the rest of your trip to the Emerald Isle steve

Stephen:  If you are tightening yours after every few rounds, then you are not using the wrench correctly, or something is wrong.  Make sure that you are hearing the "click" when tightening the heads.  My heads never come loose and I play 3-4 days a week.  Just food for thought.  Just in case I always have a wrench in my bag and a spare in the car.  Cheers.  :-)

I agree. I'm over cautious and carry each original wrench in my bag. Same thing happened to my old driver but was easily fixed using the tools that I carried. Good luck in solving your problem.

Thanks, guys! The pro at Bantry Bay Golf Club had a wrench, so I'm back in business. Will never leave home without one again. By the way, Bantry Bay is not a trophy course but ought to be. Fabulous cliff side layout and a bargain at 38 euros during the week. No waiting. Should be on everyone's Irish agenda.
