What is actually happening if I change the club head weight in my 915 D3 from 9 to 11 grams? My shaft is the rogue MSI 110 X-STIFF.

Also, what if I change the 11 gram out of my 915 F 15 degree 3 wood to the 9 gram. Shaft is the rogue MSI 110 60 GRAM STIFF.

I assume this will increase swing weight in driver but put its center of gravity back farther and thereby increase launch angle?

And will it have opposite effect in my 3 wood?

The small change of 2 grams is unlikely to noticeably change your launch angle or spin rate numbers. The direct change will be lowering or raising the swingweight one point. Any SW change in the longer clubs less than 3 points I either barely notice or it doesn't bother me. With wedges, I like to stay within 2 points of my desired feel.
