After my set of 1996 DCI prototypes (pre-962s, chrome) were stolen (and never recovered), I started having my iron heads stamped with my initials.  Local police reported that this makes them easier to track down in the event they are taken (which, of course, hasn't happened since).

That turned into a superstition and all of my subsequent clubs have had stamps.

It doesn't seem that stamping the T-MBs would be a good idea at all, but my new short irons are MBs.  Does anyone know how the 716 chrome finish responds to stamping?  Kind of an unusual thing to do, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried.
