  1. I was hitting 716 mb's (3-5 irons) and I tried out the t-mb's and all of a sudden I gained about twenty yards for the low irons and they felt much more forgiving. What it is that made me gain so much distance instantly or if it was just me doing something crazy?

Dude, it's the club & your talent, of course. It's very good....and I love it, too, myself. The first time I hit it was unbelievably good- long and also forgiving, so I hit it again another day just to be sure. The funny thing is, over the weekend, at one of our yearend outing, I was handed a $250 cert for Roger Dunn. I swear, I saw a photo of a 716 T-MB 6i in it to go with the 716 CBs. It's going to be a great 2016.

I have the 716 mb's and love them to death! I've been wondering about those T mb's, did they feel as consistent and did they seem to go higher or spin more and what shafts were you using?

I've been reading all the reviews there are on those T-Mb's and everyone has been saying great things, I'm debating going to a full set so I'm really curious to hear what you felt and think about them, sorry I can't give feedback myself on them.

  4. Yes they were very consistent and forgiving and they were going much higher and landing softer. I was using regular shafts.

I'm not sure if the lofts have been tweaked, but typically that much gain means you have a little more shaft lean, which de-lofts the club. Or a combination of both. Enjoy it!....lol

The 716 T-MBs are one degree stronger in loft than the 716 MBs.  This wouldn't cause a tremendous difference but it would be enough to noticed during play.

The lofts are 1 degree stronger than the MBs, they will be more forgiving and launch higher thus giving a gain in yards, if they're the same shafts as you're using I wouldn't think you would gain 20 yards, maybes 10 yards or maybe a bit of adrenalin kicking in ha ha

I ordered my set about 2 weeks ago. I was only able to hit the 5 iron but it was so easy to hit I had to pull the trigger to get. I'm not a fan of dynamic gold so I ordered mine with project x. Really excited for this set up.
