I am currently playing a 913D3 set at 10* and I have a 913F Strong 3 Wood set at 13.5* my next club is a 913H 3H set at 19* and I only have 13 clubs in my bag.  I have about a 40-50 yard gap between the 3wood and the 3H.  Should I add a 2H or look into a 4W?  Looking forward to some responses.

If you are lucky enough to find a 913h 17* that would be a good club and setting it to 16.25* would be a good setting.  That is what I played mine before going to the new 915h.  I purchased the 915h 18*, set it at 17.25*, the purchase the 816H1 and set it at 20*.  The 915 lowest loft is 18* and the 816's lowest is 19*.  I have a 15* 913F and it is set at 14.25* it is plenty long.  My 915D2 is set at 10.25*.  The one thing I like about the Titleist clubs is the flexibility.  The new 915s and 816s are very long and straight and the shaft options are awesome.  The 816s have a great flight and set nicely when hit into the greens.  I am a proponent of hybrids so I cannot say much about a 4 wood.  I will be 70 soon, carry a solid handicap and feel they have helped a lot.  I still used stiff shafts and hit the ball pretty solidly and am playing AP2S.  I hit my 915h set at 17.25 as far as I hit my 913h set at 16.25*, if that will help you.  In the 190-200 yard range.

I carry a 915 2 Hybrid in my bag which fits perfectly between my 3 Wood and the 3 Iron

The feel is great and it is easy to hit! really love it

I only saw a 19H for the 816 line. You might need to add the 16.5 fairway. It is adjustable from 15.75 to 18. I've found the 915 woods to be much easier to hit than the 913s.

I HAVE A 910F 4W, BUT (AS I IMPROVED WITH MY 3W AT ITS LOWEST SETTING [AND WITH A 42.5" SHAFT]) FOUND I REALLY DIDN'T REALLY USE IT ALL THAT MUCH.  TOOK THE 4W OUT OF MY BAG IN FAVOR OF THE INCREASED ACCURACY I GOT USING A 915H (2).  DOUBT I WILL EVER GO BACK TO THE 4W.

I have the 915H set at 17.25*.  It's a great club.  Slots in really well after the 15* 913Fd.  As the others have said, it's really easy to hit and a great club.  I use it off the tee a lot.  If I need to hit to a distance on a short par 4, it's the perfect club.  Also works great for those long shots on a par 5.

It depends on the courses you usually play, and what you might need the 2h/5w for.  I alternate between my 17* 2h and a 5-wood.  The 2h is a lot more workable, and I use it on long par 3s and for strategic second shots on long par 5s.  I hit the 5-wood higher than the 2h, and it is great for second shots on reachable par 5s, or to tee off with on a shorter par 4.

When I was debating between a 5 wood or 2 hybrid, like others have said, I was told to look at how you're going to use it.  Fairway woods will typically come in a little "hotter" with more roll out.  While a hybrid will come in softer with less roll.  So if you intend to hit just short of or on to the green, the hybrid is the better club.  If you intend to hit it off the tee or hit it short of the green and need the extra roll to potentially reach a green, get the fairway wood.  For me, I intended to use it on long par 3s, long par 4s, and par 5s.  So for me, the hybrid was the best choice.  I resisted because I'd never hit one before, but after the first round, I was sold!  They were so easy to hit consistently, I was hitting greens I never would have been able to hold with a fairway wood.

depends on how far you hit 3 wood and how far you hit 3H if its a gap you frequently find on course then it would be a problem i have 3w then 4i and never in a postion where i would need a hybrid to fill that gap.

You may like the 5 wood ( 2 hybrid loft with longer shaft) and set to lower loft similar to your current 3 hybrid set up?? I base my club distance gapping on carry distance only.

This is a great topic as i'm caught in the middle as well, I will be doing some major research in the coming months. I'd like to drop my 913F 3 wood & 913 5 wood and go strong 3 wood and 19³ hybrid/5 wood.
