It was a windy day in Scotland and my trolley took a tumble and my PW has a large ding on the face of the club, deep enough you can get your fingernail in it. I hav e had forged clubs before and used to getting them dinged up but this one is deep and large, also near strike area on the face. Will this affect spin or such on impact. On a side note loving the new irons.

Without seeing a picture, it's hard to say. If the ding is on the exact spot where you normally strike the ball, it might be problematic.

If it's just the width of a fingernail, I'd guess it won't really affect anything but the looks.

    Hi Wasim,

Really great to hear you are loving the new irons, thanks for letting us know! Regarding the ding on your clubface, unfortunately if this ding is as large as you suggest, and close to the strike position, it will affect the consistency of strike. Depending on where the ball strikes it, it could add or take off spin, but also it could cause the ball to come off the face at a strange angle. We advise that you contact your nearest Titleist account if you are looking to re-head your iron.

    Kind Regards, TT
