  1. My 12-year-old son has used USKids woods until now, but really needs a more substantial club. He isn't quite 5 feet tall yet, so I'm not sure what to do with a shaft. Is the D2 available in a 42 or 43 inch shaft? Probably something around 50 grams.

You should look at these guys:

We purchased a few Driver Shafts form them and built my 7 year old a Cobra BioCell Driver & Hybrid.

All for about $100 investment. We can keep swapping shafts for a few years too while he grows.

  3. Hi JRoony, it's harder for your son to find a good shaft length because he's in between sizes of kids and adults. Also, used clubs aren't a bad idea considering he's still growing and finding out what kind of golfer he is. Only problem: it'll probably be difficult to find a decent set of handmedowns that works for him. Honestly, He will gain some height and be in full sized clubs by next season so toughing it out might be a good option as well. Personally I would do that, you'll save him some trouble fiddling between different clubs and yourself a few bucks.
