    I have a set of kuro kage 65 gram low balance iron shafts that i re-moved because they were to light. They were installed in titleist ap1 714's. Since the loft on these irons are one degree different then the 712's could i add a length of .25 to the shafts. I know it would increase swingweight but would it add overall weight

    Hi Ron,
    I think you should be fitted for the correct length of shaft. Do not let the loft of your clubs dictate the length of your clubs. The length of shaft is related to lie angle, never to loft. Do not worry about Swingweight, it is an irrelevant and outdated phenomena.

    Thanks alot. Now that you have told me that I can see where length would change the lie and of course the loft will be the same.
