I noticed that on the 915F fairway wood, the Diamana M+ Red is available as a stock shaft option; however, on the 915Fd only the Diamana D+ White and S+ Blue are available options. Why is this the case? Is there a reason behind this availability determined by the club head and shaft characteristics (i.e. spin/launch/etc.), since the M+ has a mid/high spin characteristic?

Hi Robert, All shafts available for the 915 F are available for the 915 Fd, including the M+ Red.
  3. I would recommend getting a custom shaft that fits your game.

If you are looking at a high spin shaft, why would you put it in a low spin head?

This question was more poised to get any specific manufacturer feedback regarding the combination of the head/shaft. I recently purchased the 915 Fd, Diamana S+ 70(blue); however, also have a 3wood length Diamana ilima 60(red). Looking at my numbers, the spin rates don't jump too high where it negatively affects distance/dispersion; however, there is a specific feel difference between the two shafts w/ the different kick points.

My current approach will be to keep the S+ in for the majority of time; however, will switch to the ilima for specific course conditions w/ more dog legs R-L and L-R.
