  1. I have relatively short arms for my height and currently have s300 shafts in my ap2's which are an inch longer than standard. This additional length makes the clubs slightly heavier than normal. If I am going to renew my ap2's for the new model what shafts would you recommend?

You may want to look at going with the True Temper XP 115 shafts which will cut about 15 grams off the total weight, if that's what you're looking for. Another option would be the new Dynamic Gold AMT shaft. But you can always specify which swing weight you would like when you order clubs, this way you can keep the shafts you are used to playing and get the proper feel that you want.

Whichever way you chose I would definitely suggest getting custom fit for them to make sure you are getting the most out of your clubs.

    Hope this helps

    Hi GFrancis,

That's a great questions, but since Titleist offers so many different options for shafts these days, it's hard to suggest one particular iron shaft without know what you like, what trajectory you like, material (steal or graphite), etc.?

TT S300 are such a popular shaft and one of the heavier ones out there, since they are about 130g. There are so many options in the l00-120g (and less) category, but it's something you need to look into as far as what you would like out of a shaft.

Definitely get properly fitted for the irons, as you can really see the performance of each iron shaft and then you can pick from there.

Let us know what you end up getting.
