Do you guys have a favorite club, i'm not talking about a favorite for now or this past season. I mean a die hard, will be buried with you, never going to consider touching another club of its type favorite. For me it's my 2004 Scotty Cameron Futura, it will need to be pried from my cold dead fingers. To me, touching another putter would be like cheating on my wife!

My Titleist 913 D2 driver is my favorite club. It just feels right and is dependable in any situation.

That's a good call too. My 913 D2 is my first Titleist driver and it's been rock solid. I had been using a swoosh Ignite 460 for its forgiveness and huge sweet spot. I've always heard that Titleist drivers were for "better players" or "they weren't forgiving enough" but I don't find that to be the case at all, very happy so far.

My favorite club is a 9 wood Big Bertha in which I use for shots around 200 yards and can carry that distance in the air with it. I've pulled off some exciting shots over ponds and hazards with it.

My 712 AP1 8 iron. Easily most reliable club in the bag. If I'm struggling on the course or at the range, I immediately go to the club to settle myself down.

    Keith,
I couldn't agree more! My fav is the 712 AP2 8 Iron. Most dependable and trustworthy club I've ever had!
  7. Best Club in my bag is a Titleist 913/D3 Driver with a Diamana black 72g shaft, just the right weight and balance for my swing

Though it's too early to say if I will ever consider touching another club of its type, for now, I have to say my AP2-716 9 iron is the club I love to hit the most. I feel like I can't miss whenever I stand over a shot with that club in my hands. Even though I rarely miss with either my AP2 PW or 9i, there's something about the way the 9i launches the ball for me that gets my heart going and gives me added confidence, even over the PW. I love the feel of the ball off the clubface on both irons, but I think I just like the look of the ball flight with the 9i more. Probably because it goes farther, yet I have as much control with it as I do my PW.

I just ordered some new SM6s. They are sweet. Maybe one of them will give my 9i a run for its money. That remains to be seen.

The club that will never come out of my bag is a 904f 17 degree with a 43.5, UST V2 Proforce stiff shaft.

I don't have a favorite Titleist club, I actually have two favorites! I have owned my 910D2 and 910F (15*) with stock Diamana blue board shafts since new and honestly I cannot find anything else to replace them. They just continue to perform. I have hit many other offerings from other OEM's over the years, and yes some have hit the ball a little farther but I had difficulty controlling the dispersion of the ball. Both are battered and bruised and are not the prettiest clubs out there but I just can't let them go. They really are that good for my swing.
Nuff said...don't want to bother you with my ramblings of the merits of these clubs.
