  1. Looking to buy new clubs. Playing off 12. Like the idea of a forgiving/distance iron(AP1) but at the same time wanting to grow into a future set with more feel(AP2). If AP2 is the choice how about mixing it up with T-MB 4-5 iron instead of AP1? AP1 vs AP2 pros and cons? Thanks

    Hi SNielson,

I would say that you can't go wrong with whatever you decide, as Titleist makes a great product. It would just be whatever you find that fits your eye and your game. I know the T-MBs are a bit more expensive, but I like those in the longer irons as they don't look as big from the topline as the AP1s.

I actually went through MOTO and ordered a whole set of T-MBs and they are great. They give me the forgiveness that I need and the distance that I want. But I will have to admit that the lower irons don't have as much feel as the AP2s do, since the T-MBs are not forged. But they are still a great iron and everyone that has tried out my clubs love them.

I'm going to switch it up and get an AP2/T-MB combo set. Vokey SM6 PW, 9-5 AP2 and 3&4 T-MB.

Let us know what you get.
  3. Thanks Samuel. I have decided on the AP2. And the T-MB in 3-4. Only thing left to decide is which shaft. XP90 or Dynamic Gold 300 AMT. And if I should use same shaft as choice for the T-MB as well as the AP2
