  1. I'm looking for some help in selecting a couple of wedges to replace my old Cleveland GC-12 Gap and Sand wedges, 52* & 56* resp. I am now the proud owner of the 714 AP-2's (4-W) replacing my old cally X-22's. The X-22 had a PW with loft 45* while the AP-2's PW is 46* and the accompanying W is an even 50*, 2 degrees stronger than my current Cleveland CG-12 52 degree Gap wedge. The supposedly obvious choice would be to continue the gapping of 4 degrees and get a 54* & 58* but my old 56* CG-12 was a perfect 100 yard club for me. I'm hitting the 50* about 125 yards and I think that a 54* will come in around 110 - 115 yards. What would you suggest? I find I'm either chunking or blading my wedges around the green as well and I'm a little unclear on "Bounce" and "Grinds". Unfortunately, I don't live in area where I can get "fitted" for new wedges so any help would be greatly appreciated. Chipping is the weakest part of my game and I know it is also one of the most important. Thanx!

I just had a lesion on chipping I was hitting every thing fat or toping it, my problem was I had the ball back in my stance to far and had forward shaft lean the Pro told to move the ball forward and hold the shaft so the bounce of the club was flat, the shaft should be a little behind the ball then accelerate through the ball It really helped me.
