I just got my AP2's with XP90 shafts. Love them. Now I'm thinking about adding new wedges.

Thanks Joe. The XP90 are lighter shafts hence should aid in generating more speed. Did you try the Dynamic Gold?
Would you use same shafts if you go ahead and buy wedges as well?

Do stock shafts in the SM6s. The rest in the Dynamic Gold amt r 300.

I just got fitted with the XP 90 shafts R300 as well for my 716 AP2 Irons in an outdoor fitting session. I have always played a stiff shaft - NS Pro 970 (S300). I am pretty much convinced that it is the right fitting for me. I haven't recieved them yet to play a round. I can't wait. Good Luck !!

If your fitter was a qualified Titleist fitter, then I would think that what he is recommending is correct for you. However, since it sounds like you are just not sure about his recommendation, then maybe you should try to find another qualified Titleist fitter and see what the results are from a second fitting. After all, you're investing a fair amount in your new irons and being confident that they are exactly right for you, as the commercial says, is priceless.
