I have a new 3 wood and during play, I went under the ball and scuffed the top of the club. Any suggestions so on how to get that out.

I would suggest you bring your club to a professional automobile detailer. As long as the scuff has not damaged the paint to the base metal a detailer can buff out the scuff and make your club look brand new.

    Did the paint chip?
  4. I did the same thing with my driver. I keep a can of buffing compound handy; dampen a rag , apply a small amount of compound and rub. In about 60 seconds problem solved.

Thank all of you for your help. I bought a bottle of cleaner wax, put a small amount on the spot and you were right, spot is gone. I was a little afraid of compound.

As Steve said, buffing compound. A great one to try is Meguiar's Scratch X. It comes in a tube and is easy to use. As a bonus, you can also use it on your car!

Try a pencil eraser they work wonders.

    Huddersfield,

I've done the same on my 915f recently. I nearly cried
I coloured the scuff with a sharpie, and keep adding a bit more ink over time, and now it's hardly noticeable
