    Is it true that Titleist puts two wraps of grip tape under standard size New Decade grips using Nippon Modus 3 130gr shafts to make the grip the same size as the standard Titleist grip?

    No, but the thickness of the tape may feel like it.

    Every company uses different types of type under the grips...this is the tough part comparing one club to another made by different manufacturers but it is very close.
