Harry, have to share in your excitement. The FedEx truck just dropped off my new AP1s this morning at my house. I attended the first Thursday fittings and found out that my current 714 AP2s were just not the club for me any longer. Do not get me wrong, they are an excellent club and I guess that could have had the lie changed, but heard so much about the 716 AP1s I decided to go all in. I played with a friend at Oyster Reef in Hilton Head recently and he let me hit his 4 iron and it kinda sold me. Will be 70 in a few months and figure a little advantage would not hurt with my distance and accuracy. With an adjustment period for the added yardage, just maybe these new Titleist can help me get my handicap back down to a single digit where it belongs. Agree with your, thank you Titleist. Also picked up two new SM6 wedges, 50.08, 56.14, both F grinds. Shafts XP105 S300 +1/2 in 5-wedges and all clubs 2* flat. Was playing XP95 S300, 1* up. I have truly enjoyed my AP2s and this is my second set, but I need more forgiveness. Thanks, Billy. He is a great fitter and has been with Titleist and number of years.
