  1. Switched to the 915 this year and have the dianama white 80 in my 3 wood and hit straight drives mixed in with the occasional draw. Getting excellent distance about 250 on average. The driver on the other hand I rarely have a dead straight hit and usually is a weak fade and is only going 250 to 260 if I'm lucky. The shaft is dianama white 70. This is the only club that I hit a fade with and would like any suggestions on a shaft that might fit my swing better.

You don't mention the shaft flex but you may need a stiffer shaft the best thing to do is to go see a fitter try different shafts, flexes and weights.

Before a $200+ shaft, start with some basics. Try spray foot powder or contact tape on the face and see if you're off center. You might also need to adjust the hosel. You might to increase the lie by one block to move the fade to neutral/draw. Then have a pro check for spin/launch. You might need a softer flex in the white or a softer tip with something like a blue in stiff. All guesses.

    Bragg Creek,

Sounds like maybe cutting a bit off that shaft could help? If you're hitting strong draws with a 3-wood, I assume you're hitting it solidly. If you're hitting anything that can be described as "weak" with the driver, I would question the solidity of your strike. Choke down on the driver and see if going further down the grip improves contact. I do know that that's a great combo (Mitsu white 70/80) in the Driver and 3-wood.
  5. It could be a shaft issue. I play Diamana blue 70TX in my driver and WB 80X in my 3wd and it seems to be a great fit for me. SS 115-120 with driver. Driver is easily my favorite club with that shaft.
  6. all great advice and i have tried most of it already. my settings are c2 on both driver and 3 wood. had some good strikes yesterday comparing my 3 wood and driver and 3 wood was going a solid 250 but the driver was at 260. didn't know if anyone has had this issue. wasn't sure if going to a lower torque around 2.5 would help
