Hey TT how often should I sharpen grooves in irons and wedges?

If you want your clubs to be compliant with the Rules of Golf, then never. By making modifications to the grooves, "sharpening them", you will modify them and they will no longer be conforming.

If you have worn out the grooves on your clubs, it is time to get new ones!

I've got a groove sharpening tool and its part of my winter maintenance on my irons and wedges, along with regripping. I sharpen the grooves and than lightly buff the face with oxide sand paper to take off the sharp edges on the grooves. Once a year.
