Titleist 915FD Shaft

    Hi Guys

    I'm ready to upgrade my Titleist 910FD (cracked face, but it lasted well given my 110mph club head speed and 2950rpm spin with a 3 wood - I have trackman numbers to verify this) to the 915FD version.

    My local reseller stated the Diamana Kali 80x is no longer available from Mitsubishi.

    Can you recommend some replacements I can try. My local fitter is happy to organise some demo shafts. He did suggest the MRC Tensi 70x would be a be similar to the Kali 80x, does this make sense?

    Please recommend some shafts, I will demo the shafts (and obtain some trackman numbers) before committing to a purchase I am UK based.

    Seems like you really know your shafts! I wouldn't be to attached to a certain shaft until you try out a bunch of others. There are so many good shafts today that accomadate higher club head speeds. For example, I went in to buy a driver from my local shop with my heart set on the diamani white board. I ended up getting a proforce V2 because I like it better. Moral of the story is that you should try as many shafts as possible and choose the one that feels nice and gives a good ball flight. Can't really go wrong in today's market.
