I tried both earlier this year and went for the CB. They are both really nice and to be honest there was nothing between them. I chose the CB's as they had a little more feel, that's all. Distance wise there was no difference. Try them both though.

I liked the CBs better. I felt like the distance and forgiveness were about the same, but the feel was numb with the AP2, and I can work the ball better with my CBs than I could when I had the AP2s, especially left to right. The AP2s only wanted to go rt-left, if at all.
  4. I tested out both earlier in the year and ended up going with CBs. I found that the smaller head and face made me focus more on ball striking and the blade gave more feedback than the AP2. Best suggestion though is to test them out before anything else.

Thanks for the insight...much appreciated. I played them side by side...I have to say CB are longer (a few yards) much more control right and left and better feel/feed back. I was surprised given the design of AP2 with heel toe weighting and goal of increased forgiveness. I have more heel/ toe mis hits with AP2 than CB and more flushed shots with all CB irons 3-pw. Since Its all about score and confidence impacts score...CB irons it is. THanks Again!

Thanks for the insight, much appreciated! I tried both side by side and hit CB a little longer, much eaiser to shape CB right and left low and hi. Better feed back/feel with CB. I mush say I was surprised given that AP2 heel/toe weighting design is intended to be more forgiving. I hit more heel and toe shots (impact tape) with AP2 than CB. Flushed more shots with all CB irons, 3-pw. Since its all about score, and confidence impacts score...CB it is! THanks again!

Late to the party, but love the CB.
