  1. Have 716ap2 if I cut 1/2 inch off shafts do the lie angles for each club have to be readjusted to maintain the set lie

    Lie is lie. It's the angle at which the shaft comes out of the clubhead and cutting the shaft completely off wouldn't change that. BUT, it may change what lie is needed for YOU! Probably not though. You could just grip down a half inch on your clubs. i'ts not very much.

    If you use the MCC+4 grips like many on here do, there are even marks that make it easier to grip down (I use them when I want to on a shot).
  3. It wouldn't make that much of a difference. More than an inch, then it might, but I just choke down on my old DCI's and the lie doesn't seem to be a problem

    I have the same issue I cut down my irons a half inch which changes the lie a half degree flat which doesn't sound like much. I would go into your local golf shop take your clubs in with you and find out what your lie angle is and then make a decision on whether you would want to cut them down or not. Hope this helped
