After a great fitting experience at cog hill yesterday I got fit with a 917 D2 with 14g fade weight. My current gamer is 915 D2. My normal ball flight with the 915 is a draw. When I first tested the 917 the ball flight was identical to my 915. Then we switched the weight to a fade weight and ball flight was dead straight. My question is can I just add lead tape to the toe of my 915 to get the same results? Also the 917 with either weight felt heavier than my 915 so sw shouldn't be a problem.

I'm guessing you would have to add a LOT of lead tape to the head. Also I believe it's 2g of lead tape equals I swing weight point (which is maybe 1" long strip). The amount needed to move the CG equivalent to that of flipping the Surefit CG would turn your 917 to a sledgehammer.

Maybe someone with more knowledge on effectively moving the CG will hopefully chime in.
