Hey Team Titleist. Has anyone had their Titleist irons re-shafted? If yes, did you send them in to Titleist or bring to a golf shop? With that, is it worth having them re shafted or should I buy new irons with the shaft I'm looking for? I have a set of AP2 with the DG AMT that I bought this spring and want the same head but a lighter, higher flighted shaft. Any opinions?

Had my AP1's custom fit and had them sent back to Titleist for restarting. Turnaround was quick and price was reasonable.

I needed a new fitting to determine a better shaft, so my otherwise "like new" 714s were upgraded to 716s. It would have just been an extrapolated guess that what worked in the 716s would have worked in the 714s. If you have 716s, get fit but send the clubs back to Titleist to re-shaft. Having the work done locally would void the Titleist warranty.

I would say it depends on what you are looking for. I had my TVD wedges reshafted to match my T-MB irons and had the work done by my local golf shop I trust in Hawaii. I would price match both and see whats a better deal. But Don O brings up a good point about the warranty.
